Folksy Friday - Still Jesting

Well it's hard to believe we're at the end of July already! I fell off the wagon a bit towards the end when it came to making an item a day, however some Diehards did brilliantly so well done you lot! I've selected a few to showcase today, a click will take you to the Folkster's shop:

Thank You Buttons & Beads Gifts

Just a quick blog to thank Angela from Buttons & Beads Gifts for the lovely prize I received today in her giveaway.
I chose these lovely wine glass charms from her shop and they are so pretty. Great quality, they have a real weight to them. I have earmarked as great little Christmas gifts. £5 for 6, and presented in a lovely little organza bag.
Thank you Angela!

Keeeeeeep Jesting!

I've been very naughty and neglected the blog for a week, no excuse just ran out of time! The Jester's meanwhile have been continuing to list some beautiful items which I'd like to showcase, plus I've managed a few additions myself. As usual a click on the photo will take you to the Crafter's shop. I'd also like to thank 'Cuteable' for featuring my new Ted Bag this week - I was thrilled, give Cuteable a visit for all things lovely! Meanwhile hope you like my Jester's picks:

Still Jesting, and a Jester's Treasury.

Those of you who know will know of my long standing shoulder problem - anyway finally saw the Surgeon today who has referred me for an MRI. Now, unfortunately the last time I had to have an MRI, I completely freaked out and couldn't have it done, felt a complete woos, but the claustrophobia was terrifying. Anyway, it seems I can be referred for an Open MRI which will mean travelling to Swindon or Cheltenham but great result!!
Back to crafting and I've had to go a bit careful but completed a couple of little accent cushions, one in pink Gingham and one with a gorgeous Moda print:
Looking through the Jesters threads of the last few days it is almost impossible to select, there are so many lovely items but here are a few of my favourites, as usual a click on the photo should take you to the shop:

Folksy Friday

I can't believe Friday has come around again, so time to showcase some of the talented Folksters. I have been a lucky bunny this week and had a few sales, thank you to my lovely customers. My favourite item I've made this week for the July Jesting challenge has been this Summer Bag in beautiful Moda fabric.
There are some fabulous items being listed in July so have a peep at their shops, just click on any picture to take you to the shop, apologies that Blogger is playing tricks on me today and won't let me put 6 photo's on - no doubt a senior moment on my part!

Day 6!

Day 6 and still managing my one a day! I ordered some grapevine hearts and decorated with fabric strips to make a shabby heart, some lovely glass beads in the centre just finished it off. I was very lucky that Zoe at Top Floor Treasures spotted it and bought it this morning! She has a lovely new site which is well worth a visit, I think she loves fabrics as I do, she usually has some stunning prints. Anyway this is the heart I made, I'm going to do a lilac one tonight:
Meanwhile here are a few other treasures from the Jesters today:
Kelly at Kokokelli has made this stunning necklace:
London Fogg has listed this lovely pendant,  like Kelly's a really individual piece:
...and finally Just K Jewellery's soooooo sweet Sprinkles Pendant, love it!
I'm working my way around everyone slowly, it's lovely to find new shops to visit, getting ideas for Christmas already!

July 5th Jesting

I've made it to day 5! A bit pathetic to celebrate already but I thought I'd fail by day 3! Today has been a bit stressful to say the least as 'man with  digger' arrived at 8 am to clear the front of the house ready for a driveway - lots of concrete cutting and lots of dust which seemed to travel a long way! I'm sure I'm not the most popular in the road today as everyone would have shut their windows and it's been very hot! So, it was a treat to shut myself away and make this  hanging heart as my day five challenge: I photographed it amongst a lovely pot of flowers just for a change. I've also got very carried away and made tomorrows already as I will be out most of the day. I've selected a few from todays Jesters, again, impossible to choose as there are a wealth of lovelies to choose from!
This gorgeous cross from Elderberry Arts, just lovely:
Then this sweet pendant from Poppyfield:

...and finally Top Floor Treasures so sweet little Kitties Pencil/ Zipped case, I love it.

Jesting Day 4!

Well day 4 of the challenge, and already I was struggling to finish this bag by mid morning to list it - no staying power me! Anyway, hope you like this patchwork bag in lilac, lovely summer colours, I got these fabrics on my last trip to the local fabric shop - I'm keeping away for the time being as I always spend far too much in there! I've had a look through the talented Jesters pages too and added a fabulous selection from today, I also included Trish's Cow Bag from yeterday - I just love it! Will try and get around everyone by the end of the month!

Sunny Saturdays and more Jesting!

Morning all and another beautiful sunny day here in the West. Dexter managed to wake the whole neighbourhood at 7.45 by barking like crazy at a hot air balloon that dared to stray into his territory! Louis looked on quite bemused, I think he's short sighted as he kept looking around as if to say 'what the heck am I supposed to be barking at!
I'm having a lazy Saturday morning with lots of coffee and chocolate digestives - what more is there?!!
Anyway, managed to make another item last night for listing today. I made this pretty Gingham fragranced heart, embellished with some pretty beads I bought from Liz at The Little Bead Box. I can highly recommend Liz for excellent service and good value for beads and jewellery making accessories. The July Jesters listing for today is huge again so I've added a couple that caught my eye but there are just too many to pick from!
