Jesting Day 4!

Well day 4 of the challenge, and already I was struggling to finish this bag by mid morning to list it - no staying power me! Anyway, hope you like this patchwork bag in lilac, lovely summer colours, I got these fabrics on my last trip to the local fabric shop - I'm keeping away for the time being as I always spend far too much in there! I've had a look through the talented Jesters pages too and added a fabulous selection from today, I also included Trish's Cow Bag from yeterday - I just love it! Will try and get around everyone by the end of the month!

Folksy Friday!

Hooray - it's Folksy Friday!! This is my chance to have a good old rummage around the fantastic range of Folksy shops for my picks of the week. As I've spent most evenings this week sewing and patchworking I decided to use this theme. I was amazed at the range of patchwork items for sale on Folksy. I chose Quliting Demon's patchwork purse set as I thought what a brilliant idea as a gift for a crafty person! Lynwood Crafts brooch was just so pretty and very current, Bubs Bear's patchwork teddy is just adorable and Love from Debs cushion covers are so delicate and took a lot of work. Handmade from the Heart's pretty box is another superb present idea and finally Diomo Glass's patchwork lightshade, just so funky and great colours to match any room. Click on any picture to visit the Craftperson's shop, enjoy!! Di x

Craft Club!

Hi all - it's Friday again! For those of you who make return visits, I hope there are some ;-) ... I have re-vamped the look of the blog, what do you think? I love the outdoors so the natural background appealed to me, it's a change for now anyway - I'll live with it for a while and see how it feels.
I have been busy today making myself a new craft room - well clearing years of junk out of the spare room to find myself space to work that is! The worry is I'll disappear in there and not come out, you know how it is when you get carried away with crafting...hee hee.
Anyhoo, due to this I've nothing new to show you so how about something different - a photo of our not as regular as it should be Craft Club meeting - another one due soon!

I took this when everyone was unaware, busy at their patchwork on that day, some beautiful cushions were produced by Amy and Emily, I'll have to take some pics of them to show.
Bye for now all - have a great weekend! Di
